The scenery of the cliffs and the sea is absolutely gorgeous. It is so peaceful and undisturbed in most places that you can really just lose yourself in the soft sea winds and the crashing waves.
Realizing A Dream In Bilbao
Bilbao has an historic city and a more modern city, along with a riverside community. It really is like three towns in one city. This was so captivating for me. Each area offered something different, something unique and worth exploration.
The City of Madrid
As we began to explore Madrid we immediately found it was so fun and easy to walk around, check out the amazing little pubs, restaurants and shops. They were all unique and full of the Spanish character we were falling in love with.
Seville: Tapas, Cathedrals and Long Walks
Before visiting Seville I had no idea we were going to find an AMAZING cathedral, the adorable little restaurants and bars, the GORGEOUS Plaza de Espana, the pretty river walk and the Alcazar. Seville’s walkability, friendly people and beautiful landscaping made for a fantastic visit.
Malaga, Costa Del Sol
Malaga, while still a bigger city with a decent amount of tourists has maintained its culture and not been overrun with big hotel chains and restaurants.
Granada On A Whim
All through the historic area of town there are Piazza’s filled with people, restaurants, bars, concerts, and art exhibits. It was easy to walk through the whole historic area, as well as the sites that surround the city, perfection.
Looking Up
As a general rule of thumb I always figuratively “look up” in life. The older I get the more I find myself taking risks and enjoying adventure. One of the biggest risks/adventures of my life was living in Italy.
